Spicy lupin balls



This spicy balls are delicious served with endive stew or a summer salad.
Also delicious as sandwich filling, then baking is not necessary.

Ingredients

  • 200 grams of cooked lupins, unpeeled
  • 50 grams oatmeal
  • 1 carrot, grated
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 stalks celery, cut small
  • 2 tablespoons peanut butter
  • 2 teaspoons shoarma herbs
  • 1 teaspoon mustard
  • pepper and salt
  • Bread crumbs
  • Sesame seeds
  • olive oil

  • Preparation

    Fry the onion and celery in the oil for about 10 minutes.
    Grate the carrot on a coarse grater.
    Put the lupin beans, onions, peanut butter and oatmeal mixture in a food processor and grind to a coarse mass.
    Add the carrot and grind briefly.
    Put the mixture in a bowl and make to taste with the shoarma herbs, mustard, pepper and salt.

    Make balls of 4 cm diameter and roll them in a mixture of bread crumbs and sesame seeds.
    Bake the balls on low heat for 15 minutes until golden.

    Tips

    Also delicious with sunflower seeds and chilli jam mixed through.
    For easier baking: form burgers, breading is not necessary.
