A hearty pâté, delicious for breakfast or lunch.
Or you can serve the paté on a slice of baked French bread at diner.
Note: soak the sun-dried tomatoes in water in advance so that they are soft.
200 grams of cooked lupin, unpeeled
3 sun-dried tomatoes, soaked in water
1 onion, chopped
1 tablespoon Surinamese spicy soy sauce (black soy)
8 tablespoons sunflower oil and a bit to bake the onion
5 tablespoons water
salt to taste
Fry the onion in 10 minutes. Place all ingredients in the food processor and grind them to a smooth pâté.
Delicious as sandwich, with tomatoes and lettuce.
Two scoops pâté on a bed mixed salad is a popular appetizer.
